Ivica Petrikova talk on religious belief and political behaviour - Tuesday 24 January 2017
January 20, 2017

Ivica's research looks at the effects of religious belief, belonging, and behaviour on people's altruistic and militant foreign policy views.
She finds that regardless of how religion is conceptualised, it invariably raises adherents' militant foreign policy views.
Its effect on altruistic foreign policy views is more ambiguous, with some religious variables - e.g. religious belief - boosting altruism, while others - e.g. Christianity - reducing it.
The talk is at 5.15 in the Founders Building, FW101. All welcome.
Ivica's talk is part of the PIR seminar series.
